West Construction is a Houston-based excavation and site prep company. When you call us, you're talking directly to the operator — not a dispatcher, not a salesperson. We run the equipment ourselves, which means tighter schedules, fewer surprises, and work done the way it should be.

What We Do

We handle the dirt work that has to happen before anything else can. Excavation for ponds, foundations, and utilities. Grading and drainage correction so water moves the way it's supposed to. Trenching for waterlines and septic. Building pad prep that your concrete contractor won't complain about. We work across Greater Houston — Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, and surrounding counties.

Greater Houston's soil and drainage conditions are their own challenge. Heavy clay, seasonal flooding, and tight build schedules demand operators who know what they're doing. We've worked this ground. We know where the problems show up and how to head them off before they become change orders.

How We Work

We keep it simple: come out, look at the site, give you a straight quote. No estimator who's never run a machine. We assess the job ourselves, tell you what it'll take, and show up when we say we will. Most residential jobs get scheduled within the week. We stay in contact through the project and don't disappear after the deposit.

Equipment

We run well-maintained late-model equipment — excavators, skid steers, and grading machines suited to residential and light commercial work. We don't oversize jobs or bring more iron than necessary. Right machine for the scope, in and out without tearing up what doesn't need to be touched.
